A new moon in Taurus is awaiting us. The New Moon is a time for new beginnings and refilling of energy for new projects. Taurus is a Earth sign with high trustworthiness, it is also ambitious and hard working. Honesty is very important. Taurus also seeks for pleasure and sensuality. The new moon in Taurus can be a time for us to connect with ourselves, to indulge ourselves and also have a look at our relationships and our projects we are working at.
The overall topic of our spread today is the Heartchakra, Love, Selflove or love in relationships.
True manifesting is about receiving what is the highest good for all.
On the Yin side, it’s about giving oneself as much love as giving others. One should also think about what is good for oneself and not only think about what it means for others. Then one can live in harmony with oneself and other people.
The more I attune my energy with appreciation, the more the universe will deliver.
On the Yang side, it is about clearing up in relationships. Living the gentle and loving side in relationships, opening yourself so that relationships can go into healing. It is about recognizing that when we act with full loving intention, we will receive true love and joy back.
As Mudras for our Meditation I chose today:
Yin Side: Hridaya Mudra, Heart Chakra
Yang Side: Padma Mudra, Heart Chakra
Choose the Mudra that resonates with you.
Sit down in a comfortable meditation position. It is important that you can sit comfortably for several minutes, so don’t force yourself into a position that is uncomfortable for you. Vajrasana or Sukhasana is a good seating position, but you can also meditate on a chair.
Now bring your shoulders back and rest your arms comfortably, for example on your thighs. Lower your chin. Breathe in and out. Form your hands into the according mudra:
Hridaya Mudra: Place the right hand over the heart. Place your left hand on the top of the right hand.
Padma Mudra: Fingers point upwards, bring the heels of your hands together. Keep the pinky finger and thumb together, spread the other fingers. Bring your hands in front of your heart.
Close your eyes.
Breathe in and out and feel how your belly is rising up and down while you are breathing.
Maybe you can also feel your breath rising in and out of your nostrils.
Focus on the according mantra for our meditation session:
YIN: I listen openly and honor the voice of my heart.
YANG: My heart blossoms open with unconditional love.
Be gentle with yourself, when other thoughts are coming up while meditating.
Just come back to the mantra.
Come back slowly to your presence in the room. Maybe you can hear sounds or smell certain scents.
